abbey credit card late payment charges

Hi sorry if this has been posted already, i couldnt see it.

I have an abbey credit card (soon to be transferred to the bt credit card), however, since santander bank took over in the summer of 07, they keep putting late payment charges on my account. they take the charges when they want as i have a direct debit set up. when i have phoned up to complain, they say that the charges will be reinbursed because its a computer problem.
however, this has happened more than a few times now and from my statments (which have to be the worse statemtns in the world) i cannot see where they have reinbursed the money. they also put 12p interest on the account one month, despite it being interest free until january this year.

anyone else having problems with them and what did you do?

had this problem with Alliance and leicester (MBNA) eventually got money back but they kept charging interest monthly and increasing monthly, answer I cancelled the card did not pay the charges .
