    That's brilliant news.

Just a quick question, have you taken any professional advice about BR? If not have a chat to one of the debt charities in my siggy.

I have spoken with a debt counsellor via a helpline we are supplied with by my employer, I have also spent the last 2 months reading this forum. The debt counsellor did advise me that in my case br was probably the best option, although he did worry me a bit by talking about fraud. I have been stupid with debt, ie buying a car when I shouldnt have and going on holiday when I shoudlnt have, I hope this is not classed as fraud.

I can tell you right now that you won't be the first person to do so and you won't be the last.

Why don't you give NDL or CCCS just to put your mind at rest.

Glad you've been reading the forums, hope you've found them useful.

  • and a thought about the fraud thing Norby

when we all do these things, the holidays or the overspending, we have full intention of repaying them in future repayments, sometimes that doesnt happen because life events over take our good intentions
Its only when someone deliberately maxes out their cards or takes out a new loan in full knowledge they cant pay it back that it becomes fraud

you will be fine, as Tigerfeet says, when you talk to the charities, just be honest and they will calm your mind
