Oh, I cancelled my much loved gym membership today - given the amount of bills and things coming up soon, I'm just going to have to run for some exercise. So, that's £54 a month saved.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

I was told to work at home today because the office is being used for photographic purposes so I saved £3 on bus fare, had a call from the office later this afternoon to say that I needn't go in tomorrow either because they are still using it as a photographic studio (that's another £3 bus fare saved). I shall cook my own tea using whatever I can find in cupboard and freezer - I shall even make sandwiches and freeze them ready for work.
Yesterday I spotted that I had lurched into my overdraft for the first time in months (I never did it when I was on the dole:mad: ) so I took the bull by the horns and took out a Virgin credit card and transferred my largest card debt onto it:j I won't be buying anything with the card either - so now I shall become a card tart. I shall be writing to Amex about the repayment protection insurance that I pay £8 a month for (tried to get some back when I was on the dole but the rigmarole was so convoluted and complicated, I gave up) - I shall endeavour to get all the money back:j
I shall put my loose change in the variety of jars that I have - one day I shall take the contents to the bank.0 -
