  • OP, chinese new year was actually yesterday (thurs) :p

and lighten up people.....i dont think people who pointed out the spelling mistakes intended to be nasty in any way....seriously. so shake hands and be friends....

Give the guy a break, I guess Chinese is his first language, right?

i do, however, found this to be slightly offensive. It implies that people whose first language is chinese cant spell correctly. (i'm quite sure you dont mean it to sound that way):o

chinese is my first language and english is my fifth language. i dont think that i have problems spelling. :p

So did anyone actually go? Did anyone get any freebies? The reason I have just sat here and read this thread is to find the answers to my questions above NOT to listen to people arguing about a petty little thing like spelling mistakes.

All I've read lately (not just this thread) is people get into stupid arguments and debates over silly little things, I was reading one the other day about some bargain and it ended up a full blown debate on someone accusing someone of racism!

This is not what this site it for, lets all be happy :T

This is such a hilarious thread !!!! Every post made by Butler has a spelling or a grammer mistake - I can't beleive he keeps defending himself even after being corrected a few times !!! Some people are so full of themselves that they can't accept their own mistakes but are quick to point out another's.

Mark - thank you very much for the post. Will try to come to London for this. Hope it won't be too cold cos it might take some effort to get the missus out of bed :)

Oh ... by the way ... I didn't bother checking my spellings or grammer so please forgive me for my "laziness" :rotfl:

I learned a long time ago age and maturity are not always an indication of intelligence or good manners:rolleyes:. you can be any age and not have learned either
