Various sites offer rewards for following their links. Treat Mutual Points with caution. They offer a reward for 3000 points but mysteriously when you get anywhere near it, their communications dry up. An initial enquiry brought the response that some credits take a while to come through but further enquireis go unanswered.

Not the only site to do this; some mse'ers have reported similar for 'survey' and 'mystery shopper' sites (can't remember which ones).0

I cashed in my points and it did take a little longer than the 14 days, I mailed to ask where my cheque was and it arrived a few days later.
But never had a reply to my message.
I have not paid the cheque in yet so fingers crossed it will not bounce.

I've not had a problem with themutual - Got my points earned in 18 months, asked for a cheque 2 weeks ago, got it last week and it's gone through ok.
Ipoints are real buggers though for not awarding points from purchases - i've had to email them every time I've bought something from their site.Noli nothis permittere te terere

I had been with mutualpoints since 1999 and recently I decided to cash in the money I had 'earned'.
Redeemed my points and received a cheque in the post for £45.
This did take 5 years to earn though!0 -
I have to say things are better by chasing them up. Had several rewards and satisfied. Thanks for replies0

mutual is one of my favourite sites - i earn a cheque of at least £20 every 3months or so - just received my £30 one this morning and only asked for it last week so that is pretty quick - cant fault it at all.............0

Have to say I've never had any problems with Mutual Points. Sorry to hear that you have though, and hope you get it all sorted.0

When I had a problem they replied to my email quickly. It was a bit slow to reach the payment amount, but only as slow as they all are really.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Have to echo the positive sentiments being expressed here. No problem getting to 3000 points, and cheque arrived a week or so after I requested it. No problems either in getting it cashed.
Sorry to hear about OP problems.13/3/06 £2 Savers Club = £20 -
Have to agree that things have cleared up on Mutual. Do watch out though for SmilesCollect, they get you to click to sites for points, and then when you are halfway to a reward they stop giving you points for that and give only for buying, rewards better elsewhere for that. Thanks to everyone who responded to original post0
