Hi,
Im still filling out my form - im about 86% though now, but was wondering if anyone could help me with the following:
When it says list all bank accounts, does it also mean Internaional ones? I recently opened an account in Spain, it has about 6 Euros in it, was thinking of working out there in Summer but not so sure now - should I add this too?! And what will happen to it if I do?
Finally, Im moving out of my flat soon, so ill get my deposit back - is my OR likely to take this away from me? Half of it isnt mine, but theres no proof - what will happen then?
Oh, and I know I read somewhere that there is a list of amounts people usually put on their I&E forms - can anyone direct me to it?
Much obliged

I think you probably will have to declare it but a quick phone call to the Insolency Service should clarify this and what will happen (number in my sig.)
Finally, Im moving out of my flat soon, so ill get my deposit back - is my OR likely to take this away from me? Half of it isnt mine, but theres no proof - what will happen then? How much is it? Will you need to put it down as a deposit for another place?

Tigerfeet,
* My deposit is around £1,200, but £600 of it isnt mine...Im not going to be using it for another deposit as Im moving back to my parents. My full time job ends in March, and dont feel like I want to stay here at all. (Am going through a very tough time (as well as Bankruptcy!) at the mo so am thinking of picking up a part time job for a while, or was going to teach english abroad).
Well, I think Im in a position where my OR will probably take my deposit away from me - but what do I do about the other half which isnt mine?!
Also, I have a niggling thought going on in the back of my mind - I really hope my OR doesnt think Im taking the mickey by declaring myself bankrupt then moving home, then leaving my full time job for a part time one, or even trying to work abroad... In fact, its scaring me off applying for BR! Dont want to look like Im trying not to pay anything back at all re: IPA, but dont want to feel like I have to stay here IF i want to go abroad but cant because Im tied to my IPA - can I arrange to pay it from abroad? I feel helpless!

Hi Leicestercat,
The O.R won't take the part of the deposit that's not yours, and you could say that you needed the deposit because you were only going back to your parents's temporarily, and that you were looking for another property.
If your personal life is such that you move house and jobs then it's got nothing to do with the O.R. There have been a number of posters on here who've held back on taking a job until they've been discharged with no IPA. If you want to work part time; do it.
As for working abroad, I wish I was in that position when we were declared bankrupt; you wouldn't have seen me for dust and aviation spirit.:D
Move back to your parents, take a part time job and then teach abroad if that's what feels right to you. An IPA can be paid from abroad, but if you get your timimg right, it won't need to be.;) Neither would I mention the account you've got in Spain if there's next to nothing in it.
Regards

Well that certainly makes me feel better. Things do seem much simpler when they are put like that...:j
However, if I do leave to go and teach abroad, I doubt Ill wait until im discharged to do it! - do you think that will be okay? Surely my OR cant ban me from leaving the country?! However, will they have something to say if I leave without a job offer/contract?

Morning All,
Feel like Im going crazy after last night filling in my form!!! I know its a small price to pay for the hopefully great result at the end though...
Until that time though.....
Please see my amounts for my outgoings:
Mortgage payments or rent on your home £Housekeeping (including food and cleaning) £Gas, electricity, other heating £Water £Telephone charges £Travelling to and from work and other essential journeys £Clothing £Maintenance payments and fines £Council tax £Other essential payments (e.g. life/household insurance, car tax & repairs) £
My gas and electric and my telephone amounts are way too high I think, but if I divide my bills by how many months Ive been at the flat thats how it works out...I need to call severn Trent water today for my bill as I still havent got one through.
In the 'other essential expenditure' Ive put £50, and put it for petrol, hair and socialising.
the only other thing Im prob stuck on is the'Income tax reference number' - Not sure where to get this from - Im going to call my employers today see if the can help?
Would be grateful for any comments....

Sorry, what it is it you want us to do with this information leicestercat? There doesn't appear to be any actual figures to crunch...BCSC Member 70:j
