Credit card newbie question

Hi every body,
I've been using a Barclay's credit card with £800 limit for more than 2 years. I do occasional purchases and have set up a DD for payments and never missed a payment.
I am in need for some liquid money . My main expenses are house rent, water, electricity, car insurance etc. Is it possible for me to save some money by paying the above payments through credit card for a couple of months and paying just the minimum amount ??
Kindly advise me please:confused:

    it depends upon

whether your landlord will accept CC payments (unlikely and certainly not if a private person)

and whether your water authority will accept CC (not where I live but read the bill or phone up and ask)

and whether your car insurance will allow CC payments (they usually do for annual renewals but you need to check for monthly)

but why not pay your other expenses by CC... food, petrol and most things...

but of course you dont save any money this way, as of course it costs you much more with the interest added.
    but if your are desperate............
