Hi,
Just wondered if anyone has recieved this letter or knows what it about ?
Lloyds TSB sent me a letter with the following -
"Our Plans to upgrade your Mastercard account"
...
"We recently reviewed out credit card range"
..
"As a result we are planning to upgrade your Platinum Mastercard to a credit card that brings you greater rewards"
...
They say they will write again with more details in a few weeks?
Don't like the sound of this for some reason !
thanks in advance... :rotfl:

With my experience with ltsb, platinum usually means a monthly fee to get things like free holiday insurance cover and other crazyness. it would be worth checking what's the charges etc if any so you can opt out.0

Yes, I forgot to say that the letter says you will need to let them know if you want to take the new card or keep things as they are.0 -
If its a credit card that you are on about then you will be offered the Airmiles Duo card.0

Thanks for that... an airmiles card, don't think I will be bothering with that! :rolleyes:0

It's bound to be something they want to charge you for!
They keep doing this with me, I've never considered the "benefits" worth it.0
