Switch from British Gas or not? Confused

Hi,

I am currently on dual fuel British Gas, can't find the name of tariff on any bill so I assume it's standard. I've just got my quarterly bills (I pay cash): £116 electricity and £113 gas, the highest ever (2 beds flat).

So I went on recommended by Martin sites for switching and got confusing results:

energyhelpline.co m came up with edf as a top one then British gas (click energy 4)

moneysupermarket.com came up with British gas first (click energy 4), then Scottish Power, and again British Gas, different tariff, Atlantic (2 tariffs), Southern Electric and only then EDF.

Uswitch came up again with British gas and EDF.

ANd if I look into gas and electricity separately then it's getting even more complicated.

Has anyone got any experience and could advise me please?

Thanks
