My 9 month 0% is up with barclaycard in august, got a letter in a few days back giving me 2 choices either 6.9 for life or 0% on a new balance transfer for a further 2 months.
The letter then reads "if you opt for the option of 0% till JANUARY 06" iam sure this is a typing mistake/printing error but my question is could i do a transfer in for the 0% then argue with them that there letter says till jan 06 and that they should honour this
or should i just try halifax since they are advertising 12 months 0%

Go for the Halifax. Even if Barclaycard agree to 0% until Jan 06 that is only 5 months or so.

i had EXACTLY the same letter, and i noticed the mistake too. I was originally quite tempted to take up the offer, and also argue that it says Jan, but i noticed the 2% charge on balance transfers so would be quite expensive. I put it straight in the bin!
Let me know if you did argue the fact it says Jan 06 on it. I would be interested to know!
