Anyone know of any good JVC camcorder repair centre's ( Derby's )

Further to my previous thread ( JVC GR-DX95U Problem ) i've realised my camcorder is Knackered, and i need it repairing quickly as i go away next week for a weeks hol and i'd like to take it with me, can anyone recommend a decent repair centre that may do it quite quickly in the East Midlands region

I'd advise you to get a quote first - with some deals on the high street you might be worth buying new instead.

Me too - VHS camcorders can be had for £100-150 these days. Digi ones are only £100 more. Try CBS if there's one near you.

Your problem seems to be quite common and he may well have some knowledge of it. If it's likely to require CCD replacement he should be able to give some idea of price. When I used him a couple of years back he arranged for pick-up and delivery (he's along way from me).
