I have a Panasonic camcorder - model NV-GS11EB and I'm wondering whether it will be compatible with an apple powerbook? I can't seem to find the relevant info anywhere.

You should be able to import video into the Mac via firewire no problemo- although it doesn't have DV in so you won't be able to export your edited video back to the camera (at least not without unlocking it, not sure if this is possible). I remember the GS11B well- it was about the first Mini-DV cam under £600 and we sold shedloads of them as a result:).0
