2 for 1 Tyres
I went to National tyres Dorchester today and they are doing an offer of 2 for the price of 1 on tyres. Luckily all 4 needed changing, so I feel as though I got a good deal! Not sure how long the offer will last but worth checking out me thinks. Just went to the website and it looks like it is nationwide.
A case of beer has 24 cans. There are 24 hours in a day...............Coincidence?

The reason places like NationalTyres and Kwiksh*t do these offers is that their tyre prices (and most others) are already well over the odds and “giving one away free” still makes them a hat full of money.
Your local independent tyre dealer will (normall always) quote you a price of less than a half what the chain dealers are selling the same tyre at.0 -
Funnliy enough today I drove 6 miles between two different independant tyre shops. There was a £35 difference in having one Firestone tyre fitted."Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity"0

That's why it always pays to shop around. And was it a lot cheaper than buying from National or Kwiksh*t?
And another thing. They never honour their price match promise when you say “but Fred Bloggs down the road will do that same tyre for 50% less inc fitting, balance, valve, etc.”0 -
I dont even bother with Kwik Fit etc ... I have the same confidence with Halfords staff too."Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity"0
