New Saver needs help/advice

Hello, I am new to MSE and really need some advice from experienced members.

I have paid off my debts recently and am now looking to save, I will have anywhere between £600-£1000 to save monthly. These savings will be needed for when I want to put a deposit down on my first home in the next 2-3 years.

Can anyone advise me where to start and how to get the best return on my money.

PLEASE HELP!!

 Mike

You may already have found this thread by now, but it gives the low down on all the regular savers available with pros and cons.

Of course, all the rates may be about to change given the Bank of England base rate cut but will give you some light reading while that settles down;) .
