Relisting on eBay

Can anyone tell me if the URL of your item changes when you relist on eBay? The reason I ask is simple - I'd like to offer items for sale with links from my own website - but would the links disappear each time an auction ended and then change if/when I relisted? I currently use eBid and their links are fairly stable once the picture is uploaded and item listed, but I'd like to widen my potential market, albeit factoring in the recurring expense of the eBay listing & relisting fees. Is the above possible without having to continually change the link on my webpage?

When you relist on eBay, the item number will change, and so the item URL (web page address) will also change.
Depending on how adventurous you're feeling, you might be able to use the eBay API (see eBay Developers section - you'll have to search for it) to be able to list all current items for sale by a certain eBay ID i.e. yours.0 -
Thanks for that, but I'm not very adventurous when it comes to technical stuff. :rotfl: I thought it would have been a good idea to be able to list on there and promote sales via my own web address. I already earn a few pounds per month as an affiliate - perhaps I could concentrate on that without worrying about any new adventures for now
