Amazon + DHL

I purchased a printer from Amazon on the 8th of July which was last friday. It had 24 hour delay before shipping.

Chose super saver delivery. So 3-5 day wait for the goods after despatch.

Got an e-mail yesterday (12th July) to say it had been shipped. 3pm this afternoon (13th) DHL delivered the printer.

As they had estimated delivery from 14th-18th July. Just hope the thing works when I plug it in now. :rotfl:

I ordered a wireless router, a network card and a sound card on the 11th July, they were dispatched on the 12th and delivered the 13th by DHL even though I had picked free super saver delivery - very impressive.

I don't think this is always the case though, might depend on how many orders they have or something as I have waited about a week for other orders on super saver - even then I don't mind waiting a few extra days in return for free delivery.

They were probably trying to get the orders clear before the onslaught of Harry Potter!

That's excellent service though. I've always been pleased with Amazon in every dealing I've had with them.
