Can you send more than one payment a month?

in Credit cards
Hi all
can anyone help with the following:
My bf has a credit card with Nationwide that he only uses for work expenses: diesel, materials etc.
He then submits receipts to his boss who gives him a cheque for the amount.
This is usually weekly or fortnightly.
When the bill comes in I pay the full amount via his online banking from the cheques that are sitting in his current account.
Could I send payments when each cheque clears? (maybe 2 or 3 payments per month) otherwise he thinks he has more to spend then he really does with all the expenses money sitting in his bank account!
Does Nationwide allow this and does it effect your credit rating adversely?

You can pay 10p a day for all the nationwide care
I've often done this and never had any problems...
**edit** well not with 10p obviously
but several payments a month.... 0 -

sorry to jump in on this thread, i am a bit thick at this sort of thing, say in a month since your last payment date your usual minimum payment is £70, and you make 4 or 5 payments totalling £100, then you get your statement saying your minimum payment is £70 pay by such and such a date, do they take the £100 you have pain in 3 or 4 installmants as payment, or do you then have to make a further payment, sorry it is a bit long winded, thanks Dave.Take every day as it comes!!0

You have to make the minimum payment whatever happens. Best bet is to pay the minimum and then add whatever you want after.0

You can make as many payments as you like per month AS LONG AS ONE EQUAL TO THE MINIMUM PAYMENT or greater is credited to them between the statement date and the 'pay by date'. In other words if you should make 2/3 payments before the staement date and more after the 'min payment should reach us by date' you will be classed as having defaulted. Hope that makes sense to you.0
