I always thought that one of the top tips by estate agent to aid selling your house is to hide the pets! Take a look at picture 2:

I always have the job of taking our dog for a walk when EA and viewer come to visit
. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

It's what might be in the cage in the foreground that worries me.
In the living room? :shudders:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

i veiwed a house once that had 3 dogs in the kitchen and 4 cats and a litter of kittens in the frount room as soon as the EA opened the connecting door the dogs went for the kittens and hell broke loose. i walked out and left the EA to sort it out. i recieved a phonecall an hour later to ask why i had not viewed the house fully and did i have any feedback for the owner. i had already been out off by astroturf lawn covered in pet poo, there was more on the kitchen floor (poo not astroturf) and the mirror in the living room had a worn pair of red lacy knickers dangeling from it- did i have feedback!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

Cats & dogs I can handle, the fully grown python curled up on the dining room table was an interesting one to deal with, especially as I quickly discovered the viewer I was accompanying had a phobia to snakes.0

i actually told th esate agents i was viewing with that any houses with reptiles   were out of the question as i was completely phobic about snakes  and would have a panic attatck and never be able to see pass the fact a snake:eek: lived in the house - irational but true. however true to their words i was actually warned 3 properties contained snakes:eek: and advised not to view.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. 12 years ago, before we bought this house, we viewed one in the same street, about ten doors down.
On opening the door the smell hit us but when the man opened the living room door we were amazed to see he had constructed a cage, the entire length of the dining room wall, that housed 4 chinchilla's......
Surprisingly, we didnt put an offer in on that one!! But when I think back to that day I dont feel so badly about my 2 little terriers being here when we have viewers!0 -
the sofa offends me more than the pooches!
However, we recently sold our house and took our dog out eveytime we had a viewing but the EA told us not to as he said our dog would sell our house for us as he was so gorgeous?????? ignored him tho, but ironically all our viewers were dog lovers anywayTotal unsecured debt July 08 - £46, 311.88
