I'd think her lack of track record would sort of equal your debt. And I also think that you should only put it in her name if you are turned down....even taking your point about your relationship being strong you never know, you could be knocked down by a bus tomorrow (sorry if a bit grim but it is possible). I think only put in her name if all other possibilities have been exhausted.

Did you do your credit check yet?
