Ive emailed the above just wondered how long he ( or his PA) take to reply to emails?

I'd be surprised if you received anything better than an autoresponder. As IT as I am, when going for the CEOs or head cheese I always write a letter. Public email addresses not only don't get read by them but they always seem to fall into the black hole of "spam filters". Of course nothing to lose by sending off an email but letter is always preferable and you get taken far more seriously."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I emailed him last year and I had a response to my email 2 days later. Within the week my problem had been sorted.

Sounds quite impressive from alison99's post. And as I promised, I am surprised  .

Most CEOs won't read their own emails. They'll have a secretary(s) for that.
My dad isn't quite a CEO, but he's a business executive - he gets 80 emails between the time he goes to bed and wakes up - all specifically for him. Think he's got time to reply to everyone?0 -

This is the original thread that prompted my email to Mr Murdoch

I've e-mailed his address twice and received a reply promptly both times - in fact I e-mailed it on Friday evening and received an e-mail on Monday morning and my issue was addressed today. They had overcharged me £100+ and have now given it back with an extra credit to apologise for their rather splendid level of incompetence.
You can always entitle it *please pass this on to broadband customer care * (or whatever the issue is about) stating the issue and obviously include all contact details and account number.
Of course he doesn't read them (I don't think he could help with tech issues!) but his office has passed on my e-mails to the right people in the company to address my issues both times. After posting about receiving an email to my MSE username/email from 'Money Expert' (note the use of ' '), I am now unable to post on MSE. Such is life.0 -
I also emailed them last week, as due to a serious operation (ileostomy) that has left me unable to work and on a serious reduced income, I could no longer afford to pay for Sky. I explained this, and also the fact that I was still in the initial 12 month contract period.
I received a response within 36 hours saying my account would be stopped tomorrow (6 February) and that there would be no financial penalty either.0
