Hi Everyone, i'm fairly new to this awesome site so please forgive me if I put anything in the wrong place etc.
Myself and 2 collegaues about to undertake a 600+ mile charity cycle from Glasgow to Exeter in aid of Cancer Research UK in memory of a work colleague who lost his fight with cancer back in April.
Weare trying to minimise costs by trying to gain cheap, or ideally free accomomdation enroute.
Does anyone know of any discount codes, or offer on for any Travel Lodges, Premier Travel Inns etc etc??
Ps If you want to have a chuckle check out our fundraising page!!!

Travelodge have regular offers on £26.00 rooms
try http://www.travelodge.co.uk/offers/?PHPSESSID=7c6e9792bc661e5de91c3f1d1878fde00 -
Thanks Pesky, sadly the Lodges on route only have near £50 per night rooms left which means an accomodation bill of £500 for the ride. We have each paid out over £750 on bikes and equipment so far, thus trying to pay minimum for accomodation.
Looks like 8 hours on a saddle will be followed by 8 hours in a tent!!!

FAB!!!
We are leaving Glasgow on July 19th and travel to Gretna where we have accomodation already offered. We then cycle to Fleetwood (accom needed). The following day we move on to Chester (already covered) and then onto Ross-on-Wye (accom needed) and then to Minehead (covered)
So any help with accommodation in Fleetwood or Ross-on-Wye would be awesome!
We have 3 cyclists and one support driver .
Any help would be massively appreciated!!!

ps will try to get some MSE logos put in the windows of the support vehicle!!!

Not free but the YHA offer cheap accommodation and are very cyclist friendly. (And you don't have to be a youth to join - my oh of 48 is a member.) Good luck in your cycle ride.0
