stoozing - cards with same company behind them?

This is a general wondering. I've been looking at the idea of stoozing for a few months, as I'm now debt-free, and fancy a bit of this free-money.
I currently have a credit card that is empty, no interest free period left, etc.. it was originally HBOS but they sold the card to MBNA.
Looking at the stoozing guide, it suggests using a Virgin credit card..but in this forum it says MBNA operate that one too.
If I cancel the MBNA one and try and setup a Virgin one - am I likely to run into difficulties as they're both run by the same company? They'd know what I was up to - cancelling a non-free card, and getting another 0% one...surely?
