How to stop debt collector's letter?

please phone the agencies..if you keep sending the letters back they keep coming - ive done this and eventually ended up with balifs looking for the debtor - not nice a a summers day when you are doing the frount garden as are many of your neighbours. phoning them is the only way. i open every letter to previous people who have lived at this address and many of them are from such agencies - several different names.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

We had this with the house that we are renting. Loads of letters and calls from debt collectors.
I rang them all up and told them that, as far as I was aware, the previous occupant was dead. That worked.
He was actually dead, but I've mentioned it because it was so effective. I didn't have to provide a body or anything.0 -
