Hi everyone,
Does anyone know a website or tutorial on how to protect the HTML in for example an ebay listing so no one can easily copy it?
Cheers in advance.

The disable right click will only work with some browers. Others, such as Firefox, have an extension to enable you to override it.0

Trying to protect a webpage is like trying to protect a library book.I hear the cry of the silence around me.0

Truth indeed, RowaN, but the OP only said "so no one can easily copy it". Intercepting right-clicks probably keeps out about 95% of people.0

Thanks guys, I know it's practically impossible to 100% protect a page..but if I can at least annoy some lazy sod (copying an ebay listing) and make them have to type word for word their own listing I'll be happy!
Thanks for the links.0 -
the right click is a waste of time, all you have to do is save the page and you can do what you want with it0

The problem with protecting html is the fact that all browsers have a view source in the view menu, click on that, select all copy then paste it into an html editor and it's copied.Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.0

You can also try HTML obfuscation which will confuse the bejesus out of not very net savy copiers:

But, like the others said, these is no fool proof way.0
