Took afternoon off work and went for a ride on my horse, he too is leading a DFW life!
Updated my spending diary, I feel really in control and proud to do this!
Saved money on fuel by posting a letter instead of driving 15 miles to drop it off.
Sorted out some unused horse equipment to sell on ebay
Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you will feed him for a lifetime

    Today i....

    took lunch to work
    checked online banking
    done my piggy click
    made dinner from meal planner
spent £39 on a Timberland Jacket for DS2 1st birthday........

It really is lovely and i don't regret buying it. He's not getting anything else and all the rest of his clothes are hand me downs from DS1. And he looks cute as a button in it. And it's the most expensive thing i've every bought him and he's been here a full year.....

  • Evening everyone!
Today I have... this is going to be a stretch...:rotfl:
    • dried clothes indoors (ok, I forgot to clear the ones from yesterday, but it still counts, right?!)
    • worked late, so no shopping...
    • cooked pancakes (nothing dfw there - two bags of melted mini-mars bars, half pint of cream, lots of bananas, sugar, lemon juice... but sooo nice!)
    • still didn't have time to claim January's expenses - hopefully tomorrow.
    • realised I've been holding gift money for my son for over a year, but never got round to opening his account for him, and it's been subsumed into my savings total, so I've had to adjust my totals downwards :(
Hmm, one of those 'must try harder' days today! Oh well, onwards and upwards! I hope everyone had a good day!
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
