Some decent spec laptops under £250

There are some decent spec laptops going cheap here:
http://ukdvdr.co.uk/shop/Notebooks-Laptop-Computers-c-492.html
They are refurbished returns, but come with full 1 year warranty.
You need to spend £250 to get free delivery, so for the ones under £250 it's probably worth spending a couple of pounds on bits and bobs to get the free delivery.

I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?

They are far more popular in the States. The problem i can see with these is that they are trying to run Windows Vista on the previous generation graphics chip(950) instead of the newer X3100 graphics which is alot better, and the hard drives are on the small side.0 -
I foresee a problem too - they've all only for 1Gb memory and they're running Vista - you'll need at least double that amount of memory to run Vista efficiently.0

The memory can be increased to 2Gb for £20 so not too much of a problem.0

Free if it's over £250, for the laptops under £250 I think it is cheaper to add something else for a few pounds than to pay for delivery.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0 -

Depends what you want to do with your laptop. So the Aero features might not function well at 1GB, but they are just eye candy anyway. Your not going to be able to run the latest games at any reasonable frame rate or run the most memory intensive applications, but for browsing the net, writing emails and using office etc. it's perfectly adequate.
There are some laptops being sold with Vista and only 512mb of memory, now that really is pushing it.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0
