epson stylus PHOTO 950

I have been given this printer for work (we are a charity). The replace ink light is on red at the moment. For some reason it does not tell me which cartridge is empty, and there are 5 different ones to choose from. Can anyone tell me what I should be doing please?

It's a couple of years since I last used an Epson but there's a specific utility on the disc supplied with it that tells you the level of ink in the cartridges. You have to install it on top of the driver I think- it might be called Smartmonitor or something along those lines.

I have that printer and if you lift the black flap up on the top , then press the red light the cartridges will move to the middle and the arrow on the grey part below the lights will be inline with the cartridge that needs replacing.

Sounds like you need the status monitor program/driver to monitor ink levels. It should be on a supplied disc. Alternatively download it from here

Hi all i have an epson stylus photo 950 printer the problem is the red ink indicater is permantly on i have changed all the inks still have same problem.i notice when i start up the printer the power light goes on then off on twice then the same as above can anyone help me please.
