Blurry recording on my camcorder

Ive got a samsung camcorder and i use the auto focus option. Whilst Im recoring usually my daughter the picture keeps going really blurry when she moves. Ive tried the manual focus but this is also blurry as i have to mess with the focus everytime she moves.

It never used to be like this, from what I can remember and ive not dropped it.

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop the blurring?

Is the macro button switched on? This would account for severe blurring of the image if the distance between the subject and the camera changes a lot.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Does it have a night-time mode switched on somewhere. This slows down the electronic shutter giving longer exposure of each frame. This will result in blurriness. Also another reason could be if the camcorder had the abiltity to record to an SD or other type of card it could be switched to that mode. This also would cause a blurry picture to be recorded.
