Telescopic ladders advice

Hi all
I am intending to buy a set of these and have seen them on ebuyer for £46 for 3.8m. I seem to remember seeing some advertised over the last few days for about £41. I'm not concerned about the £5 but I am worried about the quality (I'm 16+st). I think (looking at the model number) that the ebuyer ones are possibly made in China.
any advice gratefully received.

all steps and ladders sold in the uk have to meet strict BSI/ISO standards.
check which standard they meet before you buy.

Hmm, resurrecting a 3 year old thread to advertise a website ? Smells a bit fishy, or should that be porky, to me.

How do you know how old a thread is and why would you be looking at old posts?0

If you look at the 1st post it has a date on, in this case 2008....Most people who want to post their own website on a post (ie spam) will search for threads containing the subject they are interested in or wanting to post a comment along with their website....The post containing the spam website has been removed, they don't tend to stay up for long..Its a big no-no for newbies to post web addresses as they tend to be connected in some way to the website they post..
Welcome to the forum Jay, only 2 posts in 3 years and one of those was a website...tut-tut... Are you gonna post a website with fantastic deals on telescopic ladders and say how we shouldn't miss out as the deals are limited??...0 -
The first post is 2008 and the 2nd one is 20080
