Hi all,
I'm looking to open one of these accounts as the rate for the 1st 6 months is 5.16% Gross p/a.
Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this account or Northern Rock?
Thanks.

The Northern Rock claimed when a Building Society to be Lean Mean and Keen"
They demutualised and have since become Leaner Meaner and Keener on behalf of their shareholders. ;D
THe rate looks OK but not a market leader................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
Thanks Robert!
is there any other account you could recommend with Monthly interest for me to stash the cash!

The best place to look for "Best Buy" accounts of variuous type is Moneysupermarket.
There are two links to it to be found on this site.
One takes you directly to the site.
However this site itself is a "not for profit" site.
The money it gets is ploughed into the site and donations are made to charity.
If you go to Moneysupermarket by a link from here the site will get a small bit of credit from Moneysupermarket.
With a bit of luck someone else will point you in the direction of the appropriate link.
Starting at about 5% you can see which accounts pay more and read the terms and conditions to see if they suit you................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
