Easyjet Holidays?

We're hoping to take a city break for my birthday in May and have been looking st easyjet holidays as they seem very reasonable.

Has anyone got any experience of them? Is it worth booking through them?

Probably better just booking the flights and getting hotels seperately.
You can get the same hotels cheaper via Hotelopia through Quidco with discount codes, worth considering.
Also getting just flights give more flexibility.

Several of us had free or very cheap holidays with them last year!

I had no problems with them. If you are more comfortable booking a package, then I would use them again, but if I am paying, I would book separately x
    Gone ... or have I?

yes they are good. call you a day or so before to confirm everything. however, there is no pull towards them if you can bag the same deal by booking your hotel on another site.
  • Just be careful when booking an easyjet holiday. They dont necessarily fly you to the airport nearest to your hotel and you have to sort out your own transfer! I remember someone booking one to Greece once and their flight took them to somewhere like Spain!!

We've never had a problem with Easyjet (touch wood), flown all over Europe and always gone to the right airport and never been cancelled.

Ryanair once could not land at the destination airport as it was fogbound but took us to the nearest one. Equidistant from Barcelona which was where we were booked to stay. So no problem. However, there were still queues of angry customers berating the staff when we got there.

We just walked out, had a coffee/beer and got on the next train (very clean and cheap) to Barcelona. Not bad for a 50p flight anyway.

Using Easyjet for Athens again in June.

i remember the free hotels. those were the days (sighs)

yes be careful, when booking you choose the right airport, however page 2 seems to change your flight to a different country. a bit like ryanair airports really

    It was not Easyjet !

Not any of the airlines fault, this was in the papers some while ago, the people concerned got confused with RHODES and RODEZ, just like people confuse Birmingham UK and Birmingham Alabama, and there are many more, it really is down to the customers to check that they are booking the correct route and country.
