Which adhesive do I need?

I'm in a bit of a quandry as to which adhesive I need to fix some dado rail to the wall as there appears to be so many products on the market right now and I need to go and buy some tomorrow!
I'm fixing MDF dado rails to bare plaster walls (should I mis-coat them first?) and drilling is out of the question as the walls are a nightmare to drill into and have recently been skimmed, so don't want to damage them!
Do I need No-Nails, Grab adhesive (solvent or solvent-free) or one of the various other products? - help!

No nails - or store own brand equivalent - will do the job, but I would give the new walls a coat of cheap emulsion first.0
