How to measure capacity of fridge/freezer in litres?

I'm looking online for a new fridge/freezer and the sizes are given as "capacity in litres". I want to buy something with approximately the same capacity as my old fridge/freezer.
How do I work this out? Do I measure the dimensions inside? What calculation should I do when I've measured it?
I'm hoping to buy an appliance that is about 150cm tall, standard width and with the fridge approximately the same size as the freezer. Does anyone know roughly what capacity that would be?
Thanks for any advice

1 litre = 10cm*10cm*10cm.
For a simple shape Volume(litres)=Width(cm)*Hegth(cm)*Depth(cm)/1000I'm hoping to buy an appliance that is about 150cm tall, standard width and with the fridge approximately the same size as the freezer. Does anyone know roughly what capacity that would be?0
