If you have Office (XP or 2003) or other Microsoft Applications installed I would recommend using / installing Microsoft Update - as it will automatically get you the updates for Office etc as well as Windows.

I got a prompt this morning to update which I duly did. Not sure what the update was but had to reboot the server.
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0 -
I had 2 updates yesterday and installed them. When I fired up this morning, my mouse left button didn't do anything. The cursor moved when I moved the mouse but the little hand didn't appear when I positioned the cursor over my username. To get into windws, I have to Alt, Ctrl & Delete and another little box appears which asks me if I want to O.K.or cancel. Left clicking O.K. then gets me into windows. Prior to yesterday, double clicking a desktop folder opened the folder but now it's a single click and a menu appears, the top option being open. Finally, to go to a cell in Lotus spreadsheet, I have to use the cursor keys. Positioning the cursor over a cell and left clicking doesn't activate the cell. Has anyone else experienced anything strange since downloading these updates or is it purely co-incidence that my laptop has gone I.B.M. positive ? (X.P. with service pack 2)0
