Life/critical illness/MPPI Which one?

Hi all,
I am currently in the process of buying a house for the first time with my partner.
I am totally confused as to what type of policy we should take out and would be VERY grateful for your help/advice...

Is it best to take out a policy and stay with it for the rest of your mortgage term (I take it its not like car insurance when your premium can go down when switching company)??

I understand the critical illness only covers certain/specific illnesses so many chose to have a perm health policy. I think we will also be taking out MPPI insurance as we would feel more at ease knowing that our mortgage repayments are covered so this is another insurance we would like to take out.

So is it worth paying 35.00 a month for life and critical illness or pay 10.86 forj ust life cover???

MANY thanks for your help and assistance.

It doesnt work like that with most personal insurances.

If it meets your needs then fine. Although you should prioritise PHI over critical illness and MPPI. You can use an MPPI and PHI policy in conjunction with each other or drop the unemployment bit if you dont think that is worthwhile (self employed often drop it for example or those in Govt backed employment).
