What's happened to my media library??

Last Night I was editing my media player library, long laborious process, but I was plodding away.I've come back to do a bit more of it tonight but can't understand what has happened. The albums I did last night are now not in the correct track list order and all the unedited and untagged stuff has moved itself to appear as all track numbers beneath each other regardless of album or artist etc.By this I mean all the track 1s grouped together, then all the track 2s,3s,4s,5s and so on.Also some stuff has now become listed alphabetically and not in the order it was added.Basically now instead of editing an album at a time working down through the library,I would now have to do each track individually.I have noyt knowingly clicked anything to make this happen, can someone please advise what I need to do to return the library to its previous state..

Looks like it's organised by name instead of track number, right click on the bar (title, album ect) and tick Track.
Also if you don't know allready, you can use shift to select an album of tracks, right click & find album info, if your's connected to the net it will fill in the tags for you. It's not 100% but about 90%.0 -
Yes I find windows media library does sometimes have a mind of its own! The find album info is a useful tool too..but as drlight says it's best to check that the album it finds is an exact match to the cd you're ripping into the library. For example USA and UK albums sometimes have different tracks/extras and can rename them all wrong if you're not watching carefully!0
