Help with changing credit cards

in Credit cards
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me.
I have a credit card with RBS and recently transferred some of the balance onto a loan so that I can pay it off.
I left about £1,500 on the card and am now looking at trying to find a credit card with 0% interest on balance transfers. I have no intention of spending on the card but for some reason I've been turned down by Virgin and Halifax.
I want to pay the card off so that I can start paying off more of my loan to lower the interest and the term.
Can anyone suggest a company who won't turn me down for a card? I've moved to live and work in York almost 4 months ago now but my credit report has my parents address where I used to live and my new address as a link to it.
I would be grateful for any advice.
