Kitchen Worktops - reasonably priced?

Hi All,

I am currently planing to revamp my kitchen but aiming to make it look better for re-sale without spending a fortune.

Can anybody advise me about reasonably priced worktops, i have had a wee hunt around b&q and homebase and seen some I liked but not sure about how good quality they are as they seem vastly cheaper than worktops I looked at in Jewsons.

Thanks

I would recommend wickes as well. They are pretty good quality and reasonably priced too. You can also take it away there and then if you so choose.
  • If you're anywhere close to NE England, Maxwell's DIY (Branches from Ashington to Middlesbrough) usually have a selection - I did all my worktops for £30 (including the joint bars) whilst tarting up my old place for sale.

In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice
  • Quality isn't your concern, you only need to go for the look. Go for a B&Q gloss worktop. very affordable, very fashionable, makes your kitchen look great and bigger too thanks to the reflection.

    I'm not on commision!
