Kitchen Worktops - reasonably priced?

Hi All,
I am currently planing to revamp my kitchen but aiming to make it look better for re-sale without spending a fortune.
Can anybody advise me about reasonably priced worktops, i have had a wee hunt around b&q and homebase and seen some I liked but not sure about how good quality they are as they seem vastly cheaper than worktops I looked at in Jewsons.
Thanks

I would recommend wickes as well. They are pretty good quality and reasonably priced too. You can also take it away there and then if you so choose.0

If you're anywhere close to NE England, Maxwell's DIY (Branches from Ashington to Middlesbrough) usually have a selection - I did all my worktops for £30 (including the joint bars) whilst tarting up my old place for sale. There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't
In many cases it helps if you say where you are - someone with local knowledge might be able to give local specifics rather than general advice0 -
Quality isn't your concern, you only need to go for the look. Go for a B&Q gloss worktop. very affordable, very fashionable, makes your kitchen look great and bigger too thanks to the reflection.
I'm not on commision!0
