Littlewoods just don't get the message!

OK! My OH had an account with Littlewoods which she got into some serious debt with, the debt is now gone & she asked them to close the account as she doesn't want anything from them again. End of Story you might think? Wrong!

This morning a Littlewoods catalogue was delivered addressed to ME! so in the spirit of p1$$ing people off, well they've done it to me, I sent their priority order envelope back with added crap, pizza ads, sky & phones4u, along with the letter & a small note explaining that I'll be forwarding on everything useless I get through the door to them if they don't leave us alone. Lets see what happens next.:D

Sending a polite note worked for me. A few months later I did want to order something but couldn't until I phoned and took the "mailing bar" off my address.

I have had similar problems with unwanted contact, only I never ordered anything from them! I believe that Littlewoods actually got into trouble for their shady data management tactics, so I contacted them to officially request a record of where they had got my details. They tried to tell me I had given them in a competition, but when I pointed out that I would have spelt my own name correctly had I given them the details, they admitted they didn't know. I explained to the lady on the phone that they were obliged to keep a record of where they got my details from, and then it all got very exciting, I was put through to their 'complaints department' and in a matter of only two months was sent a letter explaining that they get their details from three companies and it could be any one of those. Marvellous!

All in all, I think they are heading for a fall with the number of people complaining about them, so hopefully the Information Commissioner will kick their behinds!

Seems an ingenious idea to be honest. Jealous you didn't think of it first?

Not at all, I gave up being imature at the age of 11 ish to be honnest.

I was taught two wrongs dont make a right a long time ago- Im sure people who open the letters find it really funny or not.
People really dont have anything better to do- complaining about something yet they have time to do it and post it-
