A little in debt a little confused

  • You missunderstood me! I already have a managed loan, I know how anoying they are and i will be getting rid of it as soon as i can.

I went to the bank today and they told me i could pay it off as soon as i had the money, no early payment charge!

I wanted to know if I moved bank accounts would it effect me getting a normal loan in the future. I need to get a large loan in the next year or so.

It looks like you also have PPI on that managed Loan?

Check the details and consider ditching it and getting the £380 back towards your OD.

read the article on the front page. If your employer provides any sickness benefits, certainly go for it. if not, see if you could get it cover cheaper elsewhere.

  • ahh thank you, never noticed that one.
This loan is completly confusing me, when i took it out i thought it would be a total weight round my neck but it seems really easy to get rid of and maybe some money back too!

You need to check but it looks like they added all the interest up front, so there is no benefit in paying the loan off early.

Check this. Unless paying it off ealry reduces your total repayment, concentrate on geting the OD down.

  • mmm... I thought that would reduce my total repayment if i payed it early. Not sure about the intrest.
Natwest are bugging me a bit, when ever i go to talk to them they make it sound too easy!
I need someone to tell me the truth!
  • Had a spending day today, spent about £20 on food and £9 for a book for my Grandad so nothing i shouldnt have (apart from 49p on a chocy bar!)

I added anything up when i got back from the farmers market (never done that before) and thought i was £1.50 short! I actually started to panic a bit. I never cared about tenners before let alone quids!
Turns out I had forgotten about some apples.

This feels really good to be in control for a change! :)
