Admiral Multi Car

Hi,
I took out an Admiral multicar policy about 5 months ago, at the time it was the best deal around. Since then i've changed my car and paid an extra £50 on my policy.
I've had a new quote of £265 from another insurance company just for my car which works out about £100 cheaper over the 12 months.
So i'm tempted to cancel the insurance but what i dont know is how it will effect the other policy, would that policy still stand or would the premium increase?
