15% price increase with Scottish Power
Just wonder if anybody has considered switching since SP increased their price by 15% on the 2nd Feb? I am on their online energy saver 4. So confused with all these prices, I have tried to do a comparison with u switch, it appears I will be better of with british gas. Interested to know what other people are doing. Thanks

I applied to go back to BG as soon as Scottish Powers announcement was made. ( 60.00 quidco cashback validated next day )
British Gas click energy 4 should be cheaper because its price rise did not apply to click energy 4.
I imagine once the cancellations start flowing into SP, SP will launch a new cheaper tariff. :rolleyes:0 -
loulou41 .. i was on that but they suggested a few months ago moving to "pricefall online" which i checked yesterday and it means i get no increases till at least oct .
i'd suggest ringing them.. asking if your tariff means you're going to get an increase .. if yes.. suggest you'll have to move elsewhere.. and see if they'll change your tariff .0 -
I went on to my online account on Sunday night and saw teh option to move to Pricefall was in the drop down. Switched to that and it's active already. Once the lay of the land is clear I can see where to move to if need be.
Was surprised they still allow you to switch to it given the rises0
