Thats so bad Dinah... they really are a bunch of useless idiots at times. When i got made redundant they didnt want to talk me through about what i could do with dd's etc. they just charged me £100 each time my account went over the O/D and kept returning the DDs... another nice big charge.

In fact I have another charge from when i was made redunant due to come out... £100...

Have just spoken with my mum and she is transfering the money back to me asap.:T

Be a happy day for you if the bank charges case goes through and you can get all your hard earned cash back from HSBC. I went 22p over 2 months ago after I lost my card and couldnt transfer money between accounts (yep lost the card again, 9 in the last 12 months  ) and bam, lovely £38 charge, then interest on the charge.....My mastercard is with them too, and due to the date they set up direct debits on, without realising it i received a 'late payment charge' every single month for nearly 2 years! Looking into getting that back too!

I'm gonna buck the trend and say HSBC have been good to us on the whole. But we are on a poop mortgage with them so I guess they make their profits there.

Dinah - oh dear losing your card that many times... rubbish.

I already reclaimed my charges back about 18 months ago, unfortunately since being made redundant i have had about £700 worth of charges which is lovely!! But i wont be able to claim them back as I signed something (well im 99% sure i did) that said i wouldnt claim again...

I have a mastercard with them too... in fact all my debt is with them (apart from the money i owe my mum!).

    xx
