EGG customer card cancellations..!!!!!!!

in Credit cards
I saw a news report on early Saturday news which stated that EGG are about to cancel the credit card accounts of over 100 000 customers who are rated as high risk..
I have an EGG account and unfortunately, am fairly certain I fall into the high risk category..
If they cancelled my account, would that essentially be the same as me defaulting on my re-payments..?
That would be such a shame as I am managing month to month, but if EGG act aggressively, that would crush my hopes of gradually improving my credit rating..?
Can anyone explain what the wider implications are..?

long thread entitled "Egg policy change " discussing this.
Basically, provided you meet the repayments in accordance with your agreement, your credit record won't be affected. "All" that will happen is that you won't be able to use your card for further spending.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
