Thanks all for your help. We do have other issues to sort out between us, and it is very cheeky of him to ask anyway, but things have been reasonably amicable and while I don't have any desire to see him again I don't want it to turn ugly either.
You have given me a starting point now though, at least my view that it was overpriced is probably accurate, and we can start negotiations from there :rolleyes:
