PC Printer ink cartridges

Searched the forum for the answer to this but unable to find anything.

Getting a bit fed up with my Brother MFC-3220C fax/scanner/printer insisting on me replacing the expensive ink cartridges when there is clearly plently left.

I have recollections of some sort of firmware upgrade to help HP printer owners with this but no use with my Brother.

Any ideas ?

Haven't tried this company before, but there inks look cheapish

I always used www.choicestationery.com who seem to cover pretty much all cartridges (originals and compatibles). Prices include VAT and delivery.

However, I've just discovered www.ukdvdr.co.uk who sell majorly cheap cartridges - like 69p! However, the range is somewhat limited.
