If you really want to know how much it uses you can get plug in meters from the likes of maplin (often £15 on offer).
I found out my machine seems to average about 110 watts for the base unit when it's browing the internet, rising to about 170 (from memory) when playing games.
My machine is a fairly old P4 3ghz with 3x hard drives, ATI X800 videocard and a variety of fans.0 -
