My husband has a balance on his card. I am an 'additional' cardholder. Could I apply for a card and balance transfer some of his balance to my card?
Thanks.0 -
Yes, you can. And you does not have to be an additional cardholder to do this. Usually you can transfer a balance from any other credit card. All you need and are asked for is this card 16-digit number.0

Thanks for that. I will now get on with it!!0

Oh PLEEEEASE share your secrets! I have 34k stoozed on cards until January. I just applied to capital one and was rejected (bloody cheek!) and my husband was rejected by Morgan Stanley. We both have perfect credit scores. I don't want to make another unsuccesful application. Do you know who might accept us. I have been asking for a 21k balance transfer. Do you think this was my mistake...or did I go t the wrong companies? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks:o0 -
Jeez...how on earth do you manage to get so much stoozed ??? to us mere mortals on £30k a year with a family to support, these amounts seem to be in the realms of unreality. Obviously, good luck to you all for managing it and remaining to do so. Maybe the old addage of "money follows money" is alive and kicking......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
