Hi,
I recently called SKY to ask them to connect me, bearing in mind ive never used SKY before and I am a new customer. My current situation is I dont own a credit card (paid off never again) and I dont hold a debit card, I simply use a building society account with a link card suits me fine.
SKY said they would take £25 a month from my bank account per month via direct debit which is not a problem, but they wouldnt connect me without a debit card?????
Surely if they are taking money from a current account, which they are.. then why will they not let me sign up without a credit card???
HELP?

yeah sky are famous for that.I can't see the logic personally but they make the rules.
TBH Sky isn't really worth the money. I've been as sky customer for 13+ years and a couple of months ago I turned it off. I really haven't missed it, it was full of repeats and just about everything I watched you can get on freeview anyway.0
