Final OP for july is going to be £345. Will pay it in on Friday. This will bring me down to just over £1600. August will get me down to under the £1k mark. Soooooo excited now!

Have just gone through my cupboards as, after a spontaneous night on the cocktails  last night with a guy i knew at school, i have blown the food budget for the week! Amazingly, there are several 'meals' there and wine too.

I will only buy fresh fruit and some potatoes, eggs and milk and will manage with that!

Have also been paid (got those expenses back! yayyyy!) and will transfer the August initial OP of £700 across tomorrow. That, folks, should get me below 4 figures!

Spontaneous nights out and car purchase will definitely mean no holiday this summer but I don't care! I can lie around at home and read just as easily as on the beach.

Will post new mortgage balance on August 2nd when all has been taken into account and is online.

    Lots of love,
    Poppy xx

Sub 1k!!!!! Don't know exactly how much, but am definitely in three figures!!! have transferred £700 this morning working on the theory that if it's gone from the account i can't be tempted with anything else!!! Will update sig once regular payment and OP have cleared. MF date should definitely be September now.

Going to Brum today (window) shopping.

    PO xx :D

Edit to say (with dodgy PO style interest calculation) that the balance should be around £843!!!!!!!

    Well done, that's fantastic :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Good luck TYO..........just stick at it. I was lucky not to borrow too much in the first place so was relatively easy - in fact could have done it quicker had it not been for certain - errrrrrrr - issues! Since they were resolved have been going leaps 'n bounds.
